Clients Responsibility
Skin allergies -
It is the clients’ responsibility to inform the stylist of any known allergies or skin sensitivities that they or their bridal party may have and / or may be affected by the use of the stylists tools or products, and if so a consultation is highly recommended.
The stylist will not be held responsible for any reactions that may occur if any skin conditions were not stated before the application of make-up.
Photography
It is so important that the stylist continues to update their portfolio for future prospective brides and clients. Please let the stylist know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed or if you are not happy for the stylist to use your images for websites and social media pages.
Liability
Kate Morris is not liable for any suppliers that are recommended.
All stylists within Kates team are covered by Public Liability insurance; Kate Morris is covered by Salon Gold for up to 5,000,000.
Deposits
To reserve your date a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit (starting from £70) is required upon booking, without the deposit your date will not be reserved; unless stated otherwise by Kate Morris.
Booking confirmations will only be sent once all deposits have been paid for in full. Once booking confirmation has been issued your date is secure.
After the deposit has been paid, confirmed numbers may be increased at the stylists discretion (pending timings). If the numbers are reduced the confirmed total may still be charged.
All deposits are automatically deducted from the final balance, which is due no later than 1 week before the wedding day. Accepted methods of payment: BACS transfer. Unless the client pays in cash on the day of the service
After the trial has taken place the client has a one week cooling off period to confirm the booking, beyond this point the deposit is non-refundable.
Payment of the deposit confirms that you agree to the full terms and conditions for the services provided by Kate Morris and her team of stylists.
Trial
Trial payments must be paid no later than one week prior to the trial date via bank transfer. Unless paying cash on the day.
The payment of the trial is non-refundable.
Trials take place at the clients chosen location; travel costs will apply depending on the location.
Unfortunately, trials cannot take place at weekends and on Fridays in the busy wedding months due to high demand for weddings on these days. Appointments for trials are available Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holidays). Unless stated by Kate.
Please note that if you require a second trial you will be required to pay the full trial amount again.
Payment
Payments for weddings are to be paid 1 week prior to the wedding day – Unless paying cash on the day and this is in writing to Kate Morris or her team member who is the main stylist on the day.
Failure to pay the fee within the stated time may result in the wedding date being released by the stylist.
The price agreed at the time of confirming the booking is final. If Kate Morris’s price list changes at all, your booking will not be affected.
All discounts are agreed at the time of booking based on the size of the booking. If the number or party changes any discounts will no longer be applicable and full current pricing will be charged.
It is the responsibility of the named person (usually the bride or client) on the booking form to read and accept responsibility for all booking conditions and payments due. By proceeding to secure a booking by paying a deposit you accept that you are entering into a contract with Kate Morris.
